Clear labels for a changing medium

AI Use & Disclosure

AI cinema includes many different workflows. We aim to describe what was generated, what was assisted, and what people contributed without reducing every production to one label.

How we label films

AI-generated generally means a model synthesized meaningful visual, audio, or performance material. AI-assisted is broader and may describe a film where AI supported only part of a human-led production. When details are incomplete, we say so rather than guessing.

Creator disclosure

Submitters are asked to identify the tools used, the parts of the film they affected, and the human creative roles involved. Disclosure does not replace permission: creators remain responsible for rights, releases, licenses, credits, and compliance with distribution rules.

Our editorial workflow

Cinema Marketplace may use AI tools to help research topic coverage, organize notes, draft structures, test explanations, and review code. Published pages are selected, directed, edited, and reviewed by the site owner and editorial workflow. We do not invent creators, films, viewing links, festival selections, or marketplace transactions.
